Nutrition Month

Being physically fit is one factor to determine if an individual is healthy or not. A well-balanced diet is the most important requirement for healthy living. Good nutrition helps reduce our risk of getting a large number of diseases, from diabetes to heart disease. By eating Go, Grow and Glow food a day, surely we will have a balanced diet. Another way is through exercise. With the help of exercise, we won't just be physically fit, but also physically alert and through exercise, our bones will grow stronger with the help of calcium in milks. Another is through having enough sleep. make sure to sleep 8-10 hours or more. Honestly, I have a sleeping condition because of sleeping late. So, that can affect my studies. I can't focus and I sleep during classes. (LOL)

Being healthy is everything. Our health is the most essential thing we should be aware of. Make sure to have your daily, weekly or monthly check up.

A lot of cases of food poisoning was reported these past years due to street food or unsanitary food. How can we detect whether the food we will eat are poisonous? According to my research...

Food poisoning is fairly common and it occurs when food are not processed, prepared or stored properly. We've had a lot of different foods recalled in the past couple of years - like spinach, peanut butter, eggs, ground beef and ground turkey. When a food is recalled, the grocery stores remove it from their shelves and if you have any recalled foods in your kitchen, you should throw them away or return them. You don't want to eat the recalled products, because that can lead to food poisoning. Of course, you need to follow good food safety practices at home, too. You don't want to let your perishables spoil, cook foods improperly, or keep leftovers after they're no longer safe to eat.So, be careful with the things we put in our mouth. We might get bacteria causing sickness or diseases with those unsanitary food. Always inspect the cleanliness of where the food is processed or cooked.
